2002 Mardi Gras Pictures

Lake Arthur: Lake Shore Club, February 9, 2002

After taking pictures of the Elton Courir, there was enough time to pass by the Lake Shore Club in Lake Arthur before heading back to Eunice for the Liberty Show. In 2002, Leo Abshire, leader of the Old Tymers Cajun Band, shown on fiddle, helped organize a jam session at the club. Among those stopping by was Jesse Legé, shown on accordion, who is also one of the great Cajun vocalists.
